A Message from Coach Kraatz
Our camp provides the foundation for young players to develop and improve their soccer skills. We welcome all ability levels and provide a positive, encouraging learning environment. We will provide the tools to become a better player and help stimulate enthusiasm for the game. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
Session 1 (Grades K-3rd, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.)
We will focus on the basic fundamentals of soccer, starting with Striking the soccer ball correctly (locking the ankle and “no toe”). We will help improve the players ability to Dribble the soccer ball. We teach proper trapping techniques to help the younger players Control the ball. We will work on these concepts trying to instill proper techniques that are necessary to help insure correct mechanics for future success. We will do this in a Fun-Filled way that is age appropriate.
Session 2 (Grades 4th-8th, 10:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.)
We will begin with the basic fundamentals mentioned in the younger session, but will progress to more specialized and skill related areas as the week continues. Issues such as “Proper spacing”, MovIng without the ball, and ball striking using various techniques will be targeted. Prime Time Camps provide a competitive and positive environment to grow and learn.
This camp will be held at INTER-CITY BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL, Allen Park, MI
