A Message from Coach Kraatz

Our camps provide the foundation for young players to develop and improve. We welcome all ability levels and provide a positive, encouraging teaching environment to learn and have fun. We will provide the tools to become a better player and help stimulate enthusiasm for the game. We look forward to seeing you this summer.

Prime Time Emphasis

Unique in K-3rd Grades (Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

  • Adjustable Rims

  • Stationary Drills

  • Modified Games

  • Creating a love for the Game

  • Introducing the Basics

Unique in 4th-6th Grades (Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon)

  • Boys/Girls separate

  • Drilling the basics

  • Individual and team competition

  • Encouraging proper technique

  • Intensity level increases

Unique in 7th-9th Grade Boys & 7th-12th Grade Girls (Monday - Thursday, 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

  • 4 Day Sessions

  • Boys/Girls separate

  • Emphasis:

    • "Offensive Minded"

    • Set to Shoot

    • Attack the Rack

  • High intensity drills, and Competitive Situations

Extra Emphasis will be put on dribbling and perimeter shooting

  • Learn to use both hands

  • Spin, crossover and hesitation move

  • Develop proper footwork and mechanics for shooting

What's so special about the Prime Time Program?

A dedicated, well-qualified staff will use their years of coaching and playing experience to teach you how to become a Prime Time player. Campers in grades 1-6 use specially designed rims that adjust to 8 feet.

Players will receive valuable personal one-on-one instruction in the following areas:

  • Ball Handling

  • Post Play

  • Rebounding

  • Defense

  • Shooting

  • "Jab Step Series"

All Sessions Are Held at Inter-City Baptist High School, Allen Park, MI
